One of the stories that the knights used to tell as an example of politeness was about Julius Caesar. Once when he was entertained for supper by a poor peasant, the man gave him a dish of pickles to eat, thinking that they were the sort of vegetables that a highborn officer would like. Caesar showed his politeness by eating the whole dish of pickles and pretended to like them, although they burnt his mouth and disagreed with him considerably.

In Spain, you ask a man the way - he does not merely point it out, but takes off his hat, bows, and says that it will be a great pleasure to him to show it, and walks with you till he has set you properly upon it. He will take no reward. A Frenchman will take off his hat when he addresses a stranger, even when he asks a policeman the way. The Dutch fishermen, big and brawny as they are, take up the whole street when walking down it. But when strangers come along they stand to one side, and smilingly take off their caps as he passes.

A lady told me that when in one of the far west Canadian townships she met a group of wild-looking cowboys walking down the street, she felt quite alarmed. But as they got near they stood to one side, and took off their hats with the greatest respect, and made way for her.

Corporate leadership is comprised of the executives and managers who run a company. It occurs when a company foresees ultimate success from the strong leaders that run its daily operations. Leaders themselves are responsible for effectively managing the company's resources, working with advertising teams and inspiring others to do their best work. They also envision ways to improve the company from the perspective of overall involvement. Ultimately, the actions and decisions of executives are what is referred to as corporate leadership.

It takes both training and talent to be able to take on a role as a leader of a company, whether it's in a major international firm or a smaller company that deals only at the local level. It also takes certain character or personality traits to be able to thrive in such a high pressure, often cutthroat environment. Adapting to change is one of the most important traits when leading a company. One must be good at talking with people if not precisely charismatic, and public speaking skills are needed for some roles within a company's leadership.

Corporate leaders know that a customer may leave the company even if they're content if another company is out there offering a better deal, even on a slightly lesser service. It's the job of those in a position of leadership to scout the competition. They need to brainstorm and think of ways to make the company constantly better or consistently successful.

1. It is enough to be charismatic if you want to become a leader of a big company.

2. Advertising teams are inspiring personnel to do their best work.

3. To attract the customers is not the main task of the leadership.

4. The actions and decisions of the leaders are the essence of corporate leadership.

5. Leaders are responsible for motivation of the staff.

6. A good leader should have a strong character to survive in tough competitions.

7. Adapting to change is one of the most important traits then leading a company.

8. To become a good leader you should be charismatic and may not be good at talking with people.

9. Public speaking skills are needed for conducting negotiations.

10. Executives and managers form corporate leadership.
